My Story
I had no concept of unconventional therapy until I met the late Rita Harrison, the founder of the Willow System back in 2013. Her holistic approach which years later became the essential element of my practice, combined life coaching, family constellation work, craniosacral therapy, meditation, chakra-opening exercises, and tailored nutrition. It was unlike anything I had encountered before. Inspired by experiencing a dramatic shift in my life in a rather short period of time , I became certified as a Craniosacral Willow Practitioner four years later, further immersing myself in the healing methods that had so deeply impacted my own life.
As the homeless population was rapidly growing in Berkeley, CA, I decided to help a small group camping out in a nearby area. Through listening to their stories, I learned how resilient they were. The more they shared, the more I discovered their hidden wisdom. I only offered them a small amount of my time, in return they planted a precious seed in my mind. I decided to change my path, from finance to life coaching. In 2020, I became a certified Dream Builder Coach through the Brave Thinking Institute. As I began coaching myself and others—especially through the challenges of the pandemic—I uncovered blind spots and answered questions I had long avoided. I realized that healing was an essential requirement of true success.
To better understand the healing process, I went on to become a certified master hypnotist and hypnotherapist, joining the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (A.C.H.E.). Under the guidance of esteemed instructors such as Randal Churchill and Cheryl Canfield, I deepened my knowledge in hypnotherapy. Additionally, I trained in an enhanced version of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) which I now integrate into my practice.
While working with clients, I recognized a common thread in their struggles: many were deeply affected by their relationships with their mothers. Our parents—particularly our mothers—imprint not only their physical traits but also their fears, traumas, and perspectives on life. Through my personal journey and professional growth, I’ve learned to view childhood traumas not as burdens but as assignments—painful yet invaluable opportunities for transformation. Healing is not simply about overcoming traumas; it's about cracking the code to discover our true life purpose. Each trauma is a closed shell sitting underneath a ton of dark water in the bottom of our subconscious ocean. All we need is the courage to dive in and crack the shell to discover the pearl of light. This is it. When we shed light on our past healing happens.
I’ll always remember my first session with Rita. When she asked, “Why are you here?” I responded, “To find the answer to a question I’ve had for years: I work so hard—why am I not living the life I want?” She asked: “How do you want to live?” I answered, “I’m not sure but I wish to reach the end of my journey with joy, thank my body for carrying me, and move on to my next adventure with a smile.” She smiled with such satisfaction. “Let’s start then!”. That session marked the beginning of my transformation.
